A Practice in Lausanne and Geneva — Switzerland

Kiu Caracani is a specialist in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine, trained at the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and the Zhejiang Academic Hospital of Acupuncture and Tuina in China. Over many years, he also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine under Master King, as well as Shiatsu and Traditional Japanese Medicine under Master Hiroshi Nozaki.

Recognizing the value and therapeutic complementarity of disciplines such as phytotherapy, aromatherapy, homeopathy, micronutrition, and manual therapies, he further completed formal training as a naturopath in Geneva. This comprehensive, multidisciplinary background has enabled him to develop a holistic and integrative clinical approach, particularly for patients suffering from degenerative diseases, severe chronic conditions, and cancer.

His personalized treatment protocols combine acupuncture and Chinese medicine with phytotherapy and Western naturopathy, allowing for simultaneous and synergistic therapeutic action. His expertise in innovative acupuncture protocols has drawn the attention of leading Chinese medicine physicians, TCM schools, universities, and hospitals, which regularly consult him on complex oncology cases, including brain cancers, as well as neurological disorders such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.

Founder, CEO & Chairman of IRCM International — Oxford

A passionate researcher and pioneer in integrative medicine, Kiu Caracani founded the International Group of Research and Development for Complementary Medicine (IRCM International) in 2008, which he currently presides over from Oxford, United Kingdom. IRCM International addresses a broad international audience including researchers, physicians, scientists, therapists, and all professionals and individuals interested in integrative and complementary medicine.

IRCM International is dedicated to advancing research and accessibility in Integrative Medicine, with a particular focus on validating traditional medical knowledge, including medicinal plants and traditional pharmacopoeia preparations. Central to its vision is the creation of a strong international network of stakeholders, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and the exploration of new therapeutic fields.

Inspired by the values of the IRCM International Symposia, the IRCM International Foundation was established in 2021 to build upon previous achievements and expand its reach. With Integrative Health at its core, the Foundation focuses on three strategic pillars: research in integrative medicine, professional training and job creation, and the development of integrative spaces.
