Answers to the most common questions

This program is open to global medical professionals, including physicians of Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, nursing, rehabilitation and other medical practitioners. There is no restriction on professional background; anyone willing to learn integrated TCM-WM diagnosis and treatment techniques is welcome.

The total duration is 2 academic years, combining online theoretical learning and offline practical training. Online courses: September 2026 – August 2027, modular teaching, held on 2 weekends per month. Offline practice: September 2027, conducted in batches at The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University.

Online theoretical courses are equipped with multilingual subtitles to accommodate learners from different countries, ensuring barrier-free learning.

Offline practice takes place at The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, focusing on practical techniques of integrated TCM-WM such as acupuncture analgesia, tuina rehabilitation, and external treatment with Chinese medicine.

The assessment consists of clinical skills assessment + practical report defense, organized by Anhui Medical University. Those who pass will be awarded the Certificate of Completion for International Continuing Education Training in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.

The program is led by Professor Li Ping from Anhui Medical University. All instructors are from the Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, with senior professional titles or intermediate professional titles for more than 3 years, boasting rich clinical and teaching experience.

A total of 50 students will be recruited annually. The application period is March – August 2026, and global recruitment is managed by the International Group of Researchers and Development for Complementary Medicine (I.R.C.M.).
